October 11, 2021: Today marks the first time Indigenous People's Day has been recognized as a national holiday, following a presidential proclamation on October 8th.
Doni-Jo Minor-Munro and her Tsa HO fa organization have undeniably played a big role in making this landmark moment a reality. This day belongs to all.
In these challenging times, we are all navigating through uncertainty and even hardships. But at least we’re all alone together. To our loved ones, our community, our supporters and everyone else out there: We hope you are staying healthy and safe.
In the final hours of 2019, as promised, we are proudly delivering Episode One of the exciting, new series, Tsa HO fa: Conversations with Doni-Jo Minor-Munro. Enjoy the show.
This past summer, Doni-Jo Minor-Munro, CEO of Tsa HO fa, was featured in a 2019 Flagship News Release. As expected, it received widespread coverage in the mainstream media by the likes of ABC, CBS, NBC and more. The news article focused on promoting the new Podumentary (podcast documentary) series featuring Ms. Munro. The first episode will be debuting in December, 2019 right here at TsaHOfa.com!
This week Tsa HO fa has something significant to celebrate: 19,049 website views in one week. We'll say that one more time. 19,049 website views. One week.
As fate would have it, these numbers reached their current peak on the same day Doni-Jo Minor-Munro, CFO/CEO, recorded the first episode in her official, new "Podumentary" (podcast documentary) series, Tsa HO fa: Conversations with Doni-Jo Minor-Munro. The debut episode will be released later this summer with a news release to accompany it, but in the meantime you can learn more about the program right here. You can also check out a 2018 podcast below, which gives a nice indication of what lucky listeners everywhere can expect!
This rare interview was very nearly lost to time, as it closely preceded Ms. Munro's near-fatal bout of influenza, and its producers did not know how to (or if they even should) proceed with material so timely and so culturally sensitive. After being set aside, it has now been restored right here.
Doni-Jo Minor-Munro knows that sometimes the only way to make an impact -- to shake up the status quo -- is to take risks, and rattle a few cages in the process. She also knows the heavy responsibility which rests on her shoulders in her current role, but, as usual, she's up for the challenge. If you're visiting this website, chances are you already know that Ms. Munro was recently honored with the White Bison distinction for her strides in cultural education and securing grant programs. This was followed by a whirlwind journey to Washington D.C. While you wait for her new radio interview series to debut, check out the lovingly assembled virtual tour of this powerful, influential woman's impact on our nation's capital!
In a surprise announcement, Doni-Jo Minor-Munro, CEO/President of Tsa HO fa, has confirmed she will be documenting the exciting, new chapter which began after the life-changing visions which greeted her in the grips of fever and flu. Following her honorable White Bison distinction, immense press coverage, and an extremely productive trip to our nation's capital, it became apparent that Doni-Jo would only be able to accurately document this journey with the intimate, personal style of a spoken interview series.
The importance of strong role models and informative sources of education cannot be overstated. The American Indian Community in general has a unique community spirit and kinship system, which lends itself very well to unity and learning, but Santa Maria something extra special is going on, with unprecedented attention paid to today's youth.
Tsa HO fa Community Center, under the guidance of Doni-Jo Minor-Munro has established a mighty media footprint in modern times. Recently, Tsa HO fa was promoted in arguably the busiest hub of activity in the entire world: Times Square, New York City. With much more to follow, we are looking forward to an exciting 2019 with a widespread message of academic outreach, school support, and cultural education for our youth.
Tsa HO fa is committed to academic excellence and cultural education, providing many programs to help amazing kids grow up to be strong, well-rounded adults; people who are ready to carry on the traditions of the American Indian culture. We put children first, right where they belong, and pull together as a community to overcome adversity, obstacles and hardships, to make their voices heard as loudly as everyone else's.
